There will be a number of lanterns and illuminations in Peasholm Park, inspired by Scarborough’s 400th anniversary as England’s first seaside town, and the discovery of spa waters by Mrs. Thomasin Farrer. Please note that the island will not be accessible to the public - the lanterns are designed to be viewed when walking around the park’s pathways at your own pace, and toilet facilities will not be open in the evenings. Admission to the park is free. Please take care when walking next to open water.
