Inspired by lighting a prayer candle in churches in memory of loved ones, Messages to the Night is an interactive light installation where visitors write personal messages - hopes, dedications, memories - on a digital writing station. Each message is projected in glowing amber light, blooming with fire, before settling to a warm glow. Drawing on the medieval palimpsest, new messages layer over fading ghosts, creating a communal, ever-changing monument.
